Why do Leeds fans get so upset when fans or players call Ryan Bailey ? The 5 rings dont mean anything, if results and injuries went Saints way, Ade Gardner would now have 6 rings yet he is the most average winger in our history (in my opinion).

Gardner is a good finisher nothing without a centre IMO, but dont compare him to bailey.

We dont get upset per se just annoyed that he gets called out for no appernt reason, simply for celebrating now it seems. He is judged on who he is, not for what he does. for example he had a good game last night, but when the scuffle started last night a fan behind me went. Its Bailey again, to witch his mate replied. It's always Bailey.

It'd be Bailey even if he wasn't on the pitch.

As a side Note This squaring up to youth players wilkin mentions is he on about Saints kids last night, or that allegation from the Wigan kid the other month?

Usually, because they are personal attacks which call him rubbish and cowardly. Anyone who can have a serious debate about his ability or lack there of is welcome to try.

His game has improved no end and to compare him to Ade Gardner is quite frankly an embarrassment.

I'd agree on Gardner being the most average...but only because Meli is so far below average he's bringing the average to a new low. A Grand Final wouldn't be the same these days without a Meli brain fart. A shame Wellens had to be injured to get him back on the wing but once there he didn't disappoint!

Conducting yourself in a way so that people respect you would include not going to the media and bitching about fellow professionals, which is something the above players would never do, but Wilkin, not for the first time, has.

I can't think of any other current pro who uses the media like a spoilt schoolgirl uses her daddy. I know which of the two of them looks more childish at the moment.

When will Wilkin learn not to go crying to the press after GF loses - his use of the word childish is certainly apt.

As for Bailey "He celebrates, he whoops, he squares up to our younger lads" - is a pretty bitter sounding exaggeration, Bailey was being a clown after Zak's try (dancing around and egging on the Leeds fans) to the extent that one of the other players had a quiet word but we had just won the game and after the conversion he went over and shook the saints players hands no "squaring up" to anyone never mind the saints under 11's or whatever Wilkin imagined.

Average players hide in most great sides, especially in the Salary cap era. Our great 2006 side had Gardner, our 2002 side had Mike Bennet. Our 2000 team was filled with Jonkers and Stankevitch.

Ryan Bailey is average (not rubbish) but average. However when talking about the lads attitude and personality he comes across as a grade A plonker.

No you're everybit as daft as I'm making out and possibly even more so.

Bailey has been an integral part of championsip winning teams in 2004 ,2007,2008, 2009 and 2011.

He's won 5 titles under 3 different coaches and has never been dropped from the side for any notable length of time by any of those coaches.

How many times as he been picked for England in that time ? A England team who are not filled with quality props. Ryan Bailey is average.

About as good a 3 props as you could wish for for the last 5 years. Add players like Carvell, Crabtree, Fielden and you can see why he has missed out.

In 2010-11 he has fulfilled his early potential and been outstanding for us.
