| There ain't gonna be enough bandwith on the site to induct everyone who can probably make it in there.
Sir Kev has to be tops, Keith, McGuire, Burrow (2 Harry Sunderlands) have probably all got to go in at some point, and you could make genuine claims for Bailey, JJB, Ali and that's just players who have played in all 5.

| Bluey should have gone in last year when he left for me.
Think there should be space for Ali, Keith and the mercurial talent that was Francis Cummins

| Dont you have to leave to get in?
If so Keith is a must.
Id be interested to know the criteria (appreciate Im boarding on geekdom asking a question like that). Ali has been a fantastic servant also.

| Sir Kev surely has to be next. There are quite a few who could get it though - Ali? Burrow? Buderus?
IMO, Keith just sounded really really bitter at the homecoming today. Went down a bit in my estimations.

I think the criteria is that if the majority of people on this board think that a certain player/member of staff deserves to go on then they go on. There also have to have left the club or are leaving.
That’s as far as I’m aware. So if you’re reading this and have an account southstanders – Air your opinions and hopefully we’ll have some new entrants soon.
Mr Southstander.com will hopefully post to clear a few things on how this works too.

At the risk of sounding like G1 - Diskin > Buderus for HOF
For me, it's something that happens after you leave the club.
I was surprised Keith was there after not being with the squad yesterday, I was amazed they spoke to him. He had his moment at the final game and for me today was about the squad who've pulled this season round in the last few weeks.
JJB, JP, Delaney etc would have been much more deserving of a few words!

| It's not easy to get into the SouthStander.com Hall of Fame, as you can tell from the fact that we have just two inductees in the last five years.
There are certain criteria;
1. They must have played their last game, or coached their last game for the club.
2. They must have achieved something exceptional at the club.
3. They must be nominated - usually to me by PM or e-mail - and then I agonise long and hard over whether to consider them for inclusion.
4. I may then take advice from the great and good on the site - usually through a message board post along the lines of 'Should X be inducted into the Hall of Fame'. I'd then consider the answers before making a final decision.
I think that there are several players on the current staff worthy of inclusion at some point in the future and I think that the 'Hall' will become increasingly populous over the coming seasons as players reach retirement.

| Although there's still more to come Ian Kirke must surely be a certainty when he 'officially' calls it a day.
2. The luckiest player to have ever represented the club.
