There is a working mens club we found last time around can't remember the bloody name of it though...It was near a fair few car dealerships, about a 10 minute walk from the ground.
Just found the club, it's called the Railwayman y.m.c.a!
As an alternative use the Ladywell park and ride car park the one used for the Willows (free parking) then get the tram to Exchange

Never had any trouble parking and never paid for it. Left out of the ground and along Wharfside way and there are lots of streets off there.
We've parked on Waterside and Elevator Road in the past - it helps if you get there early but we have had a couple of mad dashes after LUFC games and never had trouble parking even when late.

It ain't what you takin', it's who you takin' from, ya feel me? How you expect to run with the wolves come night when you spend all day sparring with the puppies?:41106.jpg

Don't know Salford all that well but do know Manchester (from my Student days...wow 10 years+ ago now) and given that I'm heading down south I can easily turn right towards Manchester then head south.
Yeah. Think I'll go with your tip...thanks Mr.Southstander
