jjb played well at times, deserves to be in top 3, dont know about no1 though, abblett for me been immense, he's a totally different player to a few seasons ago, really matured. really turned up the heat since senior departed. all that hard work and no recognition, a real unsung hero. Did web sneak in while no one was looking, mmmmm don't get that one.....

Glad i can bring some merriment to some on these forums! But i have noticed that a lot of my posts are a little anti-webb and I don't want to be seen as being on a crusade like others on here. Therefore I will button my lip for a while!

Also don't see how Webb got in ahead of Ablett .. bizarre.

Ablett has been great for the team this year. He has done every job put his way with 100% commitment and with minimal fuss. I look forward to him finally get the opportunity to settle into a position week in and week out.

Considering Ablett has recently been in the press stating a desire to watch the NRL on TV he's fortunate to still get picked on match days let alone on award nights.

Personally I think JJB deserves this award. If all of the team had made the same effort as he has, who knows what could have happened this season. Yeah he gives away a few too many penalties, but in a season of inconsistancy he was one of the only few to stand up and be counted.

I agree, him and Ablett have been two of the best backrowers in the competition this year.

The Wigan fans are livid that Hoffman didn't make the dream team (understandably IMO) but there is also a very strong case for JJB.

Well done to JJB, thoroughly deserved.

I am surprised Ablett didn't get in but not too surprised at Webb's inclusion. I know he gets a lot of stick on here but week in week out he's often our most creative half back. Clearly his peers and coaches recognize that if the fans don't.

No mention for Ben Cross?
