Leeds Carnegie v Bristol Rugby
followed by
Rhinos v Hull FC
Our charitable friends at Headingley arent allowing you the facility of watching both matches and have stated that after the Carnegie game if you dont have a full price ticket for the Rhino's game then you will be "EJECTED".
What a marketing scoop for Leeds !!!
Leeds Carnegie are currently second bottom of the Championship table the second tier of rugby union against an unbeaten Bristol.
Surely they would have been better promoting this a a joint game and boosting the attendance for the Carnegie game, it will be interesting to see what mighty attendance figure there is for the Carnegie game.'"
Leeds Carnegie charge £17 for matchday admission - if you allowed everyone to just buy a ticket for the Carnegie game and then stick around they would be getting in for cheaper than those turning up to watch the Rhinos game on its own.
You've also got the issue of safety and knowing just how many people are in the ground at any time. If you don't know how many folks have stayed after the Carnegie game, how do you know how many you can let into the stadium for the Rhinos game?
What this does is slightly inconvenience a couple of hundred people who might have wanted to watch both games by actually forcing them to buy two tickets to watch two games of rugby. Excuse me if I'm not frothing at the mouth in anger.
