The RFL not banning Sam for one game does send out the wrong message to all the kids out there. However I am sure when Wigan visit Headingley next season I am sure Sam will be given a warm welcome. All we need is for the RFL to give Bentham the game with Hicks running the line and all will be complete.

What's the point in a suspended sentence/fine/ban? I mean in general?! Either you did the "crime" thus need to be punished, or you didn't thus don't. It's hardly rocket science is it.

In terms of crime, usually used on first time offenders, a incentive not to re offend, or straight to jail. Thats the theory anyway!

At the end of the game the whole commentary team were clearly gutted that Wigan had won. Only JM gave any reasoned summary of the game. The rest was simply inept. Also doubt Warringotn are capable of giving us a "bashing" unless you mean in the literal sense.
