| As a fellow rugby league fan i'm embarrassed at the state of officiating during that game today, it cost you dear.
Wigan should never have got the ball back from the Brent Finch attempted 40/20, that was a massive decision they got wrong, shouldn't be happening on such a big stage.
Then we have the Jeff Lima try from a forward pass, how any of the 3 officials at pitch side missed that really does beggar belief.
Also the spear tackle on the Leeds player where he clearly went above the horizontal, the ref gave nothing and Wigan scored off the next set.
Even the last try had a large amount of doubt to it, it was one of those, that could quite easily have been ruled out by a different video ref on another day. Wigan shouldn't have been in a position to score anyway, the officials got it wrong from the Brent Finch kick, it should have been your ball.
I thought your players were a credit to your club today as well as the fans, apart from that early spell from Wigan where they built up a 16-0 lead you went on to dominate the game from 10 mins before half time then for the majority of the 2nd half.
Well played.

Oh and I can assure that we spend alot more time on the Saints and Warrington boards given the local rivalry. However we didn't play them in a major final last Saturday or indeed Leeds in the last three seasons.
Leeds played well in the final and I have already acknowledged that in one of my posts. They could have won the game had they taken their chances. However I only entered this debate because I really didn't feel blaming the referring decisions was a fair assessment. As a life long supporter of rugby league I enjoy and appreciate good rugby from all teams (yes even Saints and Wire) including Leeds over their successful seasons, however I would much prefer to have discussions about good play.'"
well ok fair enough and obviously I wasnt there and you now appear to be coming round and not mentioning how many trophies this that and the other,as long as you dont do that you will always get a good discussion.I suggest you take a look at the "Wigans million fans thread"Damo and you will see how I defended Wigan as a rugby town and not a soccer town.. by the way surely you should be in kip now.Its 13 minutes past 7 here i'm now going to watch baseball.goodnight god bless

Yes I was up a bit late! Hope you enjoyed the baseball.
I am looking forward to an exciting play-offs this year as I think it could be the closest for many years. Several teams are in with a shout if they can put it together at the right time.
