If you intend going to the Final at Wembley, whether we win or not at the weekend, you should note that on the day of the final there will be no trains in operation between Marylebone Station and Wembley Stadium due to engineering works. These engineering works will be taking place throughout August and Chiltern Trains decided to use the last two weeks in August to complete and commission the project because "history shows those two weeks are the quietest". Yet again another example on Rugby League's big day no thought for the supporters. See......www.chilternrailways.co.uk/ticke ... es/changes
"Sporting event at Wembley National Stadium: The Carnegie Challenge Cup Final. No Chiltern Railways services will call at Wembley Stadium station. Passengers are advised to use either Metropolitan or Jubilee line services to and from Wembley Park and Bakerloo line services to and from Wembley Central, where your Chiltern Railways tickets will be valid".

With Wembley Central and Wembley Park fully operational and within walking distance, whilst it is a pain, the closure of Wembley Stadium is not a great loss.
I used it to get the final the other year from Marylebone and there was hardly anyone on that train going up there ....
