I only started watching the Apprentice last year and I must admit that I’m bored of it now. I’ll just watch ‘You’re fired’ and the final next year probably.
Anyhow I’ve bought a copy and read most of the magazine so far. The most enjoyable parts for me were Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook’s column and ‘The breathtaking adventures of League Geek’ comic at the end. League geek was probably inspired by a collection of Trolls that have resided on RLFANs over the years and it should be interesting to see where they take this character.
I do hope that Richie Mathers taps into stuff other than what comes up on his twitter feed though. I can go on twitter to read him rambling on about the third man in the tackle and save myself £2.95p whilst I’m at it!
Angela Powers came across really well and she deserved a lot more column inches than what she got. I’d like to see international rugby league in developing nations get more inches too. It’d be awesome if Fourty-20 could get a student studying sports journalism at any American unverscity near a rugby league team to write a regular blog on what’s happening with the game in the states.
Other than that a big well done to the guys at scratching shed for putting together a good magazine!
