Correct. 12 months have passed. Smith has had an off season to work on his conditioning and get him back into shape for RL. Any problems with him are down to himself, and the coaching staff. |

He wasn't our best player in Perpignan at all.
The lad gives his all to the cause, and has very good hands for his natural position. Marker defence he was great. But general defence was poor, always holding back and not coming up in the line with his team mates. Why do you think Catalans kept attacking our left hand side? |

That is because he aint no centre and that was my point, he is playing out of position but at least gives 100%. I mean what's with Smith these days? |

It seems such a long time ago when he looked so highly promising when putting McGuire away from within his own half in the snow after our FB's risky youthful impetuous offload !! 
The only other pass I remember from him was when he actually passed outside to Donald who then only just made it to the line after both he and his centre partner were chased down by one certain Mr Broughton. Now he is what I call a genuine natural winger - as opposed to our makeshift incumbents. Pity HE is not available....  |
