Straight out of the Tony Smith coaching manual. Some of you guys are looking for things that just aren't there to give you something else to beat McDermott over the head with.

The Olympics isn't the best example. Nobody at LOCOG is looking to turn a profit or make a quick buck (I daresay some will manage it - lots of Tories around), as the organisation has no shareholders to satisfy.

I'm not sure how investors pumping money in equates to making a quick buck? Some will find ways to make money (the Glazers, Santa Ken etc) but most of these sugar daddies run the clubs as a hobby. They're the vogue way for billionaires to flaunt their wealth.

I for one will be at wigan tonight hoping and praying McDermott starts with a win tonight to prove these doubters wrong. At least this slump is showing who the Glory Supporters and who the true fans are.

McDermott is surprising no one.
He's not Leeds' problem, the problem is the man who appointed him knowing full well McDermott isn't up to the job!

Well, I finally found the time to watch the video clip.
All it tells me is that ..

a) McDermott prizes performance above all. (and that's fine by me)
b) McDermott isn't the world's most articulate in front of a camera. (and that's of no concern to me).

I still don't like what I believe to be his coaching ... but that video doesn't change my view one way or the other.
