if he had informed the ref of his intentions then the try would have been allowed would it not?

It happened in 2005 at HQ. Sinny kicked a penalty into the Southwest corner for Mark Calderwood but was disallowed and he had to take it again.

Oh they should have told him. But given him an answer in code and told him to go figure it out. He seems the laid-back, patient type who would enjoy such a thing.
