Had to laugh in the first half when he said he'd have run our first penalty. Brian Noble spent years at Bradford and Wigan sticking 2 fingers up at every opportunity.

Never liked noble but I would take him at Leeds now

After what's been reported in the past about how much he hates Leeds I'd rather have Lance back. I'm sure we can find a decent coach who doesn't have an inbuilt hatred of our club

That's funny, because the last couple of performances have reminded me of Wigan under Millward.

I'd take Daniel Anderson or Graham Murray in a heartbeat.

Most of you will already know I don't rate McDermott and Lowes at all, but without a (significantly) better option we would be foolish to bin them both mid season.

Painful as it might be, we currently have little option than to stick with them.

if the call is made to ditch them at the end of the season then imo they should go now then at least a new coach can have a really god look at what need improving ,who to ditch/promote from within and then he still has time to do the external recruitment for next year and hits the ground running in pre-season.

what if the new coach is already employed and therefore currently unavailable?

Then he needs to have a future member of his staff around the club to start the planning now because there's some changes that need to be made and waiting will see another below par recruitment drive.

I honestly don't think it matters.

I know it sounds counter-intuitive, but if McDermott isnt the choice for next season, he needs to go now, even if we cant get who we want in immediately.

As soon as the decision is made that McDermott is going, he needs to go. It isnt the best thing for the team, or fair on McDermott for us to keep him in a position which he wont keep.

I would rather we dropped him and brough in a stop-gap than keep in him a position we dont think he is suitable for.
