I thought he was shocking. But then he's *always* shocking. This is not about decisions going against Leeds or anything like that: it's that every week, with every team, the sheer amount of randomly-generated penalties he blows for that other refs let go will frustrate, and in tight games (so not tonight) will decide a match more effectively than the efforts of the players.
How many penalties were there today, in a not ill-disciplined match? 20? 25? With any other referee in the league there would have been 10 or 12. Child stands absolutely alone on this, and he's not fit for purpose as a referee.
