Bad luck there RFP but at least you got off your butt and did something and hopefully raised a lot of money in doing so.

Take solace in the fact that at least you did not drag your family all the way to Paris the week before last and tell them to stand in a specific place with a big Yorkshire flag so that when they ran past in the Paris marathon they'd see them and give them a wave - this former poster (still reader) here on ss.com totally forgot that his two young children were standing there for four hours with a big Yorkshire flag so that he wouldn't miss them - ran straight past and ignored them all, the only reason they knew he'd been past was because he texted them at the end to ask why they weren't at the finish as he was ready to go back home now.

Take a bow Puig Aubert.

At least he won't be dong any more practice runs up and down the hill outside my house frightening the horses in those disgusting shorts.

Thanks guys - your support means a lot 

An official yelled at them & helped me up & encouraged me to keep going.

The supporters along the course were fantastic apart from these chavs. Adults & kids alike. Loads of youngsters wanting to high five & people cheering your name. Awesome experience and will certainly be going back

Money at around £1200 & rising - sponsors still adding to it & some collection pots to gather in.

May wait until 2013 to go again to give people a break from me hitting their wallets!!

Well done on your run Sarah - you should be very proud xx

Thats a fantastic effort, its really difficult getting people to donate money so £1200 + is a really good effort.

Next up - my fundraising in July icon_lol.gif

5 Hours and 40 mins. A big thank you to everyone for their support and to the people of London for their encouragement for all 26.2 miles and thanks to friends, family and strangers I have reached my target of £1000 for Children with leukemia.
My legs are dead, my shoulders are crispy and I have a golf ball sized blister on my toe but I have my medal and memories of a great day.
