2004! As soon as Danny went over for that try it was the realisation that the wait was over! Those last few minutes were great!!!

Anyone else close to tears when Danny went over or was it just me? The only time I have ever nearly cried at a sports event.

I was in Albufeira in Tanya's bar and i was crying my eye's out. My girl turned to me and said "what you crying for?" "Ive been waiting over 24 years for this moment" was my reply. Even now just thinking about that point has brought a little surge of emotion and a tear to my eye.

The 07 was brilliant not least because we were in the Saints end and a chorus of "That's why we're Champions" went out when Smithy scored plus the Donald Try is the best of any GF imo.
