What's all this crap about him laying into a defenceless person too on the other thread? It was a semi professional Rochdale player wasn't it? Bailey, Chev and Deayne thought he was attacking a woman so, stupidly without finding out any details, they pounced. At the same time I'm not condoning both incidents, but what has he done inbetween to waste "all these chances?" the latest one was a joke of "bad taste" on a private networking site where he hadn't set his privacy filters properly. He has 107 friends (not stalking, just checked yesterday) so he's hardly adding anyone and everyone. The joke was meant for the people he knew and a slap on the wrist should, and will be, sufficient.

He has a contract which may contain clauses relating to bringing the game/club into disrepute. Sports people are sometimes fined by their clubs. They possibly could suspend him without pay which would have the same result.

I guess only if he is found guilty of breaking the terms of his contract.
