Burgess really stood and so did Ian Kirke. He has had a lot of stick but Kirky was solid tonight. Cannot leave Kylie out either, he played a lot of minutes and still carted the ball up strongly.

Yeah, I, like many others am often left underwhelmed by Kirke, but tonight he had a bigger game.

That's 2 on the trot where Burgess has looked a much improved prop and tonight he and the other 2 were very good and got through alot of hard graft and hopefully they'll all kick on from here.

I agree with Iestyn Harris. Burrows is taking the line on a lot more.

In the absence of Maguire, Burrows has always been a far better player.

They've rarely gelled as a half back partnership.

Maguire hampers Burrows natural talents.

You'd think a SL coach would be able to pronounce a player's name right. He called him Rob Burrows all night.

Burrow is still running too laterally for me, and trying to step into gaps that other players are running into. However he is taking charge more now, like he did in 2007 when he was at his peak IMO. His eye for the pass still isn't quite right, but it's getting there.
