Re-watching him on Super League's Supermen is a sobering experience.

At first watch, alot of the things he kept repeating (let his family/team down etc) I wrote off as quite laughable, trite and insincere.

On second watch, you look a little deeper.

A troubled bloke. A bitter end.

I feel for his kids.

What a sad ending. RIP Terry. Thanks for '99.

I still cannot get over it.

I have to admit I was never a fan of his as a rugby player, but RL is just a game and I never knew him off the pitch. He was described as a top bloke from Barrie and Tez O'Connor yesterday and I believe that was the case.

Just watched SL supermen, and he was looking forward in life. Such a shame.

He seemed pretty subdued on that, when he says stuff like "I really let everyone close to me down" it has a real deeper meaning by the look of things.
