Quote RhinosTil I Die="RhinosTil I Die"We all knew that without JP and Burgess we would struggle to win the arm wrestle on Saturday so surely we should have beefed up the pack by moving Sinny to 6 and McGuire to 7 and leaving Burrow out for an extra runner and tackler. TS was brave enough to do it with Myler and having three halfs behind a losing pack was never going to work. Briers looked good because he had time to dictate, Sinny looked poor because he was expected to tackle, kick and lead the team around the field. Warrington's loose forward Ben Harrison is only there to run and tackle and plays like a forward, not a back. Read what Danny Lockwood says in League Weekly "I don't think they are as effective when the midfield's cluttered with a hooker and all three of Sinfield, McGuire and Burrow." With two props out we have to find some go forward to provide a platform for the halfs, if we don't I can't see the playoffs lasting long. And just so you're clear, this isn't an anti Robbie rant, we named our cat after him !!!'"
True ! Like you, I admire Burrow: his lion heart, speed and tackling ability cannot be castigated. However, on attack he is hardly the most creative and he should be dropped to the bench (instead of Diskin). Sinfield and McGuire are our best halfback combination; Clarkson to loose forward.
