He may have hit a bit of form over the last few years but that doesn't mean he is suddenly a lovable rogue.

Aye but he had oodles of space and time in which to do his halfbackery, bought by the Warrington forwards who did a fabulous job IMHO.
Plus, since Morley being made Captain, Briers doesn't get the same gobbing-off-at-the-ref opportunities.
