Strong candidate from a spectators perspective yes, as it is now voted for by the players whoever wins will thoroughly deserve it.

As for PC, he was giving an oppinion as to who he thought would be in the GF, i may be wrong but as a pundit i thought that was his job? The only thing you can be reasonably certain of is the GF will be contested between 2 of Wigan, Warrington, Leeds and St Helens. I wouldn't like to pick 2 at the moment though.

I certainly don't think the views of a few pundits will act as a major motivating factor for the Leeds players, they have enough reason too go on and win it as it is. If an opposition player had written us off then maybe, but as you say, that's a pundits job.

Meh! Phil Clarke declared after 8 minutes of the Saints game that they would win because of 'their better skill and better passing'. They didn't. You'd think he'd get tired of being wrong.
