Simply outstanding.
People can talk about Buderus being re-introduced (which I agree with by the way) but Bailey's re-introduction was also key last night.
Buderus moved us round. And TMFMISL kept hold of Sainstdown the middle of the park. Something we struggled to do while he was off. He knows that just because you may not be involved in the tackle doesn't mean you dont need to be involved in other areas of defence. He cleaned up very well. Put himself in the positions which made Saints offloads 'not on' and was strong without ball in hand and with ball in hand. We looked a much improved team with Bailey and Buderus playing, no question.
Then came the game-breakers. Had the sense to put in McGuire and made a great charge in the build up the winner. While he was being dumped got a miracle pass away.
He stood up and deserves all the plaudits in the write-up's he's getting. You could see what it meant to him and the fans (even some Saints fans) were on their feet.
The odds of him going down under at the end of the season are shortening and he is a serious contender.
TMFMISL is having a belter.
How silly do all you Bailey Bashers look now?????? Very.
I said 'I told you so' a long time ago, there's just being a dozen cherries added to it that's all. And many more to come I feel.'"
As good a player as bailey is, there wont be a seat on the plane unless there are a few injuries to key front row forwards...
