I think this type of talk needs to stop.

Realism is needed.

Saturdays defeat means leeds would do well to finish 4th, anything above that is lala land. Saints, warrington, wigan and hudds are all pretty consistent and it's unlikely those teams will drop enough points with leeds going on a big enough to get above 4th. Even so, to get 4th now we'd be doing well.

Winning from 4th would be possible but hard. We'd most likely need to win away at one of saints or wigan at some point to get to the final and we don't have brilliant record at either ground, nor do we have a great record away from home in playoff rugby.

There may not have been a trophy handed out on saturday but it took us another baby step towards not being there when the big trophy is handed out.
