Don't argue mate. Do what I do. Turn up outside at about 20minutes before the band go on. And tell them, you're willing to buy a ticket for £5 more than it's worth. Works everytime with me. I even bought one for half price once. They f-cking themselves if they havent sold any or hardly any tickets and are just dieing to get some money back.
