Indeed it is Gledhow Wood Road, well spotted! You know that area well?

Technically it's Gledhow but I just tell people I'm from Roundhay as not many people outside of North Leeds are familiar with Gledhow. Kind of like how some people from Swinnow will say they live in Bramley.

My Gran lived on the Elmetes - spent a lot of time round there as a kid.

I know a few people who live around there, near St. John's school and it's pretty nice, although not too far from Gipton...

Chating about old times in Leeds last night, we use to meet in what is now Edwards, out of 5 or 6 of us nobody could remember its previous name, Any answer anyone??

More like an absence of Eastgate - there's only the bank there! I'd have thought the buildings past the gas board would have pre-dated 1939. So much for my knowledge of architecture.

Haven't a clue what or where "Edwards" is - any clue on its location ?
