Its a nothing statement. It will never happen, so it can't come back and bite him.
Personally I think Leeds would do ok, start well, but fade towards the end of the year, as the intensity catches up with them

Very similar to the Chav ball pundits offering their opinion on Rangers and Celtic in the English Premier League. It probably won't happen but people still have theoretical subjective opinions of how well they would perform.
Personally I'm quite happy with how Leeds are doing in SL. We should rename it the World Super League taking a leaf out of USA's rounders series.

I agree about Leeds being good enough for a mid-table NRL finish. The likes of Salford would not win a game all season. We'll never match their quality, but maybe our competition is at least starting to even out a bit more.

We clearly can match the quality at the top level of the league game its the quantity or depth where we struggle.  |

They caught Leeds and Saints on a good day. If Leeds or Saints put in a performance like they do in GF's (ok maybe not Saints ) then Salford would be lucky to score. |
