| Having no Sky+ I've not watched the game afterwards but last night felt that Sinfield and Burrow kicked the living daylights out of Saints. Put that on top of an immense defensive performance, his leadership and constant talking to the players and pushing them at every opportunity, and Sinny was easily MoM.
I also though Senior, JP as usual, JJB, Bailey, Diskin and Hall put in excellent performances, Hall and Webb being there for everything that Long kicked at them.
From Saints, I thought Graham, Long, KC, Gilmour and Eastmond put in stand out performances. Graham showed before the hooter how much it hurt him to lose again, the guy wears his heart on his sleeve, but turns his blood to water week in week out, and I'd love to see him do that with JP and Moz for England this autumn.
Cometh the hour, disappeareth the man, as Pryce must have as his slogan. Long had to do everything with Eastmond as his assist last night in attack. Gilmour put some excellent runs in and both Long and Gilmour will be missed badly at Knowlsey Rd next season. While no longer the world's best, KC will also leave a massive gap in the Sts team when he retires.
Maybe it fits well for Saints to have an excuse in Bentham's decision, but there's nothing to suggest that a disallowed try and a Saints set of six would have resulted in anything better than five drives and a kick down the throat of Webb, as we saw the rest of the game. For Iestyn and Wobbie to proclaim Saints would have gone on to win off the back of that decision is laughable.
An excellent performance from two excellent teams, but the better off the two teams season long won it last night.

If he retired today, his legacy would stand comparison with any captain in the club's history.'" It would, even though you've sold him short by one title and omitted his MOM in a WCC.

Apologies, I meant to add "on the bounce" after the three titles bit.
And friendlies don't count as major finals.

| Kevin has now captained Leeds to more titles than every other Leeds captain put together in 140 years.
Apart from that I don't know what else he could really do to go down as Leeds best ever captain in the history of the club?

He just needs to lift that CC to get the full set.......
(seriously though, He IS the greatest captain this club has ever had, and it's a priviedge to be around to witness this period in our club's history)
