46993.gif The very existence of flamethrowers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves,
"You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.:46993.gif |

| It's all subjective, but without any shadow of a doubt the best drama I have personally ever watched. I was devastated when it ended. We'd taken Series 5 on holiday with us and had watched it all in the first 24 hours of being there. Omar is THE best character I have ever seen in a drama. He was a very brave character to inject into an American show. Everything the christian right in America would hate. He was a drug dealer, a homosexual, a drug stealer and an afro caribbean. Brilliant! I was so upset when he died the way he did. But then that too was very realistic. It wasn't about a final triumphant fire fight or car chase. The modern day Robin Hood. David simon and George Pelecanos are TV gods in my eyes. If you need a Wire fix get reading George's crime novels. Did I mention that I quite liked The Wire?

| Quote: G1 "I watched season one and two of the shield when it was first shown over here and enjoyed it.
Then I stopped watching as much telly.'"
So far this week I've watched 20 minutes of Jamie Oliver in America last night - and thats it, in total.
Some weeks I watch nothing at all.

| I was gutted when I finished season 5 of The Wire, even though it is probably the weakest of the seasons. It does wrap everything up magnificently though.
Season 2 is my favourite. Try 'Homicide' the book by Simon. It's the fore-runner to The Wire.

| How Not To Live Your Life. That's a funneh proggy.
Of the American stuff I used to watch House, got 3 seasons on doovde, but then kinda just went off it like I did chocolate. I watched quite abit of Kyle Xy aswell, until I found out what he was and stuff, then I binned that. But the key one I watch religiously is Entourage. Because it's f-cking beeeeeeeeauty!

41106.jpg You come at the king - You better not miss.
It ain't what you takin', it's who you takin' from, ya feel me? How you expect to run with the wolves come night when you spend all day sparring with the puppies?:41106.jpg |

Funny I've heard a few people say 2 was their favourite and yet, as mentioned somewhere above, it's my least favourite - probably says more about the consistency than anything else!
I'm definitely going to give the book a go.
