Our bins have been emptied on time for two weeks running now.

I do find it amusing however that young people have no experience of public service workers striking - you should have been around during the last few months of Callaghans government or for the full monty, Ted Heaths rule of the early 70s

Thank god we live on the border and ours is still picked up. Having said that people at work are been crafty and bring bits and bobs of rubbish to work to dump

I was on holiday last week and the news coverage featured the striking binmen in Leeds .... It was great to see so many Leeds shirts, whilst I was so far from LS6 !
