I thought it was Leeds who were head and shoulders above everyone else for most of that season.
Top of the table, with a huge points difference advantage for the majority of it before the game before the Challenge Cup Final messed them up.
St Helens didn't hit the front until round 25 by a point and Leeds had still monstored the competition when you look at the points difference.
Everyone knew the format before the season started though and that's the important bit to me.
