Give us a clue?
300k does seem a lot for a 19 year old but the comparisons with Harris are interesting. Dont think anyone could doubt Harris was worth that for Leeds so if Myler can fulfill his potential it could be a good signing.

Somewhat less of a mark, you're out by a factor of at least a million...
'"
Andy Hay's debut was away at Oldham 18th May 1997 (about six weeks after Harris')
The somewhat less of a mark I had in mind was big James Leatham. Although in fairness my original remark was misleading as Leatham also played nine times for Leeds in the pre SL Era. The night he shared with Harris was his only SL appearance for the club.
Edit: Nobody spotted that did they.

| Quote Wheels="Wheels"Possibly not, if he is going to be their (and England's (and maybe even GB's)) first choice half back for the next 10 years, and they can build the next few squads around him.
If he really is as good as the hype, then he should be worth every penny.'"
I think Eastmond may have something to say about that

Depends what type of scrum half England will be looking for.
Eastmond and Myler appear very different types to me.

Quote Frosties.="Frosties."Warrington are set to launch a £300,000 raid on Salford for star scrum half Richard Myler.
300k for a 19 year old lad is abit much imo.

Can't be true if it's on there then.

| Wasn't Scully only 20 or so when he moved to Saints as well? That didn't turn out to be a bad bit of business.

| Have no problem with Warrington paying out the money for him but would like to know how they will be able to manage their salary cap with their player roster.
King
Hicks
Monaghan
Morley
Carvell
Briers (New contract)
Andersons
Rahuihui
Higham
All of these players will not be on minimum wage and if Myler were to be enticed to them they would have to offer the same if not more than he would get at Salford. I'd like to know their accountants.
