I thought that but I think it meant out of the options who proressed most.

In that case I'd guess at Villeneuve. Paris have never been in it.

Did they not play in the cup while in Super League? You would think I might have picked up on that at the time. Was there a particular reason for it or were they just not allowing French teams in at that point?

Ah, maybe you're right. I do seem to remember Wigan playing Carcassonne (sic?) in the Cup on TV before Super League days (Wigan stuck 50-odd points on them) but I could be mixed up about when it happened. And it might have been a one-off anyway.
