IMO the Wakey player cheated that out of the ref. I don't blame Ganson for that. In real time with no replays you've just got to rule on what you see.

Actually we give away more penalties for laying on than any other team in the league. We also give away the most penalties for being off side too.

To me this indicates coaching instructions that are being used, presumably, to give our defense an edge. PLayers might only be doing what they're told. Squads small, defense is where most energy is used so saving energy over the long run would be a very good thing.

Interesting that Brian said something about the team being no where near trying hitting top gear for the run up to the end of the season.

Dont worry, Saintsfan has an obsession with us at the moment. He was on the cods board last sat after the game shouting the same old rubbish (from a neutral point of view of course) to any dull willing to listen (There were plenty of them)!

The ref really was not that bad, Wakey played well and deserved to be in the lead with a few minutes to go.... but you fought back and won, it was a bad performance by you but so what, it happens to us all during a season. There is not many teams capable of coming back and winning games like that, be grateful that you are one.

You showed why you are a good team tonight focus on that and not the ref.

The problem with Leeds indiscipline is pretty simple.

As others have mentioned we try getting penalties by being clever. As we dont get these the players get frustrated as the refs arent always playing to the letter of the law.

We then get penalties against us which the players feel aggreived by. They then get more aggitated. As this continues the players get really aggreived and the discipline goes down hill.

Its a continuous circle that in a game is very hard to break

From what I've seen I'd agree with most of that only that I'd see the penalties conceded as being niggly or petulant and in response to the side feeling/being under more pressure than they feel they should be.

Should it be possible to get sin-binned without conceding a penalty?
