I'm the first to say thank you for rescueing the club 12 years ago but that was then and this is now.

Meaning that the people in there pay more than the standard fan in to the club. I'm not saying it was correct what he was saying, but surely the club has to accept a bit of criticsm when the side are turning in performances like they are.
