Unfortunately we were going in to the season one player down after Eastwood was denied entry in to the country.

Once we get a few injuries I dread to think what could happen to us, there is no strength in depth there.

toopi,scruton,ellis and tansey have not been replaced. i don't blame the club over eastwood but the squad is obviously light

I don't think anything can freshen Bluey up, I wasn't convinced by him last season and think the Tony Smith factor got Leeds through when beating Saints in the final, his style of management is very short term which is perhaps why he was successful during his short comp stint with New Zealand (with an exceptional side lead by Wiki).

In terms of new players then yes, I think if they are the right players they can boost a team and take some of the pressure off key personnel, I am also a great believer in competition for places , something which Leeds are very short of.
