| Quote Old Feller="Old Feller"I thought Bailey had his best game of the season tonight.
Showed real pace for the break that led to the winning score.
God, Briscoe must have a hard head! Looks more like Chico Jackson every week.'"
Nobody could EVER look as bad as 'Chico!' Know what you mean though!

| Quote TDR="TDR"we got "caned " by bentham because we were persistently offside. Are you aware of the rules?
He lamely tried to even things up later on by handing Leeds a couple of penalties and sin-binning a KR player.'"

| I'm not doubting the game was poorly refereed. If he'd been more even handed in his handling of the offside offences, he wouldn't of had to sin bin Senior, and therefore probably wouldn't have sin binned Fox.
What I'm saying is he did even it up in the end - whether or not he should've put himself in that position is a different matter.

Firstly he sin-binned mcshane, secondly how did he even it up??
Fox was a proffesional foul no if's or but's about it.
Like i said he caned us in the penalty count but didn't penalise them for the same offences.

Watch the game properly we were caned by bentham and didn't get the same amount of pens for the same offences commited by the robins.'"
In your biased opinion of course.
Try to look at it from a neutral point of view.
As for the poster who said he evened it up, Fox deserved to go. He was consistent with that.

| Baileys best game for a while IMO. Note that his break came running out wide, where he played most of his academy days IIRC. Always had alot more potential at 2nd row comparedto prop for mine, and tonight he showed how mobile he is when he gets going. Great ball to Watkins as well, hope he's alright.
P.S. What is teh craic with Briscoe's nose? Makes Ian Dowie's look straight.

However tonight he seemed to referee the two sides completely differently. Bluey hinted at this in his extra time interview. On the commentary, you could clearly hear him warning KR on the run about being off-side and not having two feet over the line on a number occasions. yet he adopted a zero tolerance approach to Leeds for the same offences.
I've seen poor refereeing displays and I've seen awful displays. I can't recall seeing such a biased display in the past.
He'd have needed to award us four penalty tries to even up the advantage he was trying to give Hull KR tonight. Terrible display by him. Gritty display by KR and a great display by us in all the circumstances.

I've just had a flash back to Widnes away when they first came up to SL (2002?) - Bailey was at 2nd row that day for the academy before the main game IIRC and was awesome. I'm pretty sure he bagged 2 or 3 tries that day, and I'm sure they all came from him running the similar line as he ran tonight for the Watkins try.
