And also the Harold's. The bit where they stormed the Mosque was filmed in my street (at the time, I've moved since), namely Harold Mount. They built a fake mosque at the end of my street. We all had to sign releases to allow the filming.
And if we are doing bus nostalgia, I'd like to put forward the No.75. Great little service, coming out of town via Westgate, then turning off Burley Road onto Westfield Road where Stoggy's used to be, then up Hyde Park Road, turning into Brudenell Road, then onto Cardigan Road. Now, someone will need to help. Did it then go behinad the Co-op and up towards HQ, or did it go up Burley Road all the way up Kirkatall Lane? |
