| He's staying !
2026 and a rolling extension if both parties are in agreement.

Clears that up, with a rolling deal it will always link to speculation if NRL jobs come up. Hope we can add a good attacking coach to complement Langley on defence, as think attacking sharpness is were we have lacked sometimes this year.

| So, it has been announced he is staying for 2026 and a rolling year-on-year from then (if they both agree).
Same as what has happened this year. What are people’s views on this?

| I'm delighted that BA has signed a new deal at the club. Speculation will continue throughout next season though as to whether he's staying for 2027 or not. But we're going to get the benefits of another tough pre season and hopefully some new signings for next season.
The club is in a much better state now with both Blease and BA at the helm,They are both clearly on the same page on moving the club forwards and what is required to get there. I have also nearly eradicated the painful memory of Rohan's style of footy, especially defensively (or more to the point the non existent defense)

| Great news , Brian McDermott had a 1 year rolling deal for 7 years and we won plenty. I’m sure BA won’t be here that long but far better 1 more full year of BA than losing him now

| Personally I am not impressed with BA. I fear that 12 months down the line we will be in the same will he stay or will he go position as this year. It does not help the players not knowing who the coach will be. Also I am not happy with signing more Australians, we should be developing our own players. The Aussie and BA's style of play does not appeal to me, there is little craft and that explains why we have no creativity at Standd off, loose forward or Scrum Half. 5 carries and a hopeful kick is so boring!

We wont miss Ackers!!!! However I think both Gannon and Lisone played good rugby in their respective rolls

I suppose the over reliance on Australians is just a sign of the times. The higher quality home grown youngsters just aren’t coming through. Taking a more organic, homegrown stance on playing local lads instead of the Aussies would be like going into a fight with one hand tied behind your back unless all the other clubs took a similar approach. The R.R.L is ultimately to blame for this over reliance because they’ve made terrible decisions affecting the game down the years. I would rather see the number of imports slashed in a way that cannot be legally challenged, and watch a competition stuffed full of British born academy lads. A lot of people prefer watching Championship football over The Premier League, and a slight lowering of standards would hardly be noticed in Superleague over time if it meant more homegrown lads getting a shot.
