| Quote RAPIDO="RAPIDO"Usual suspects again on here he's not that good blah blah blah if he doesn't want to play for the Rhinos good ridence etc etc just sour grapes he's been the best overseas player ultimate professional we have and we can't offer him what Hkr have there must be one he'll of a signing coming in to replace him!'"
I don't think anyone has said good riddance etc. Posts on here are wishing him well, as is only right. Where we do agree is that he has been a model professional and his replacement needs to be top drawer.

| Quote His Bobness="His Bobness"It's true that Rhyse Martin agreed to join Hull KR several weeks ago before Blease and before Arthur. Rovers wanted to announce the departure of an overseas player first but it was a done deal some time ago.
The money is not a big factor he is well paid but not marquee at Leeds and the same will be true at Hull KR. Rhyse has a 2 year deal at Rovers I know Leeds wanted to keep him and I am surprised that at just 31 and still playing well if Rhinos were only prepared to offer 1 year.
If indeed Leeds were only prepared to offer 1 year whilst Rovers offered 2 then clearly Rovers wanted him more.
It's also true that Rovers have not won a major trophy for 39 years and in that time Leeds Rhinos have won....well quite a few! But with 4 games remaining in the regular season Rovers are top and maybe the wait is nearly over. Maybe.
If it isn't then the club will try again next year with an even better squad including Rhyse Martin. The club is in rude health off the pitch with most of the top local businessmen on board and the club have recently taken up the option of buying 15 acres of surrounding land having bought the stadium last year.
The club did it's sums before taking up the option of buying the 15 acres but now has plans for retail units and housing which they believe will provide a substantial income. And crowds are selling out every week (admittedly only 10k capacity) with the club needing to expand to 11k next year to accommodate demand.
Are you interested in all this I don't suppose so. But Hull Kingston Rovers are now a major player in Super League and will continue to be so for the foreseeable future. That's why players like Rhyse Martin are attracted.'"
Really good for the game that clubs like HKR are flexing their muscles and making an impact. A more competitive league, outside of the usual suspects, can only be positive. More competitive games that actually mean something in the context of any given season are a positive.

It is a great success story, and not an overnight flash in the pan one either. We (Leeds) have missed cut-throat top of the table games against Bradford hugely. Hopefully if we can start travelling in the right direction, games against KR can become similar occasions.

Won’t be. Hull Derby will always be the biggest game for them and their fans. We need a Bulls resurgence!

| I agree. I think it's great that Rovers are at the top.
I honestly hope they win it.
It will be a proper two fingers up to the Lancashire mob - especially Wire, who think they have it this year (again....)
Yorkshire have been way behind Lancashire for too long, so good luck to Rovers.
But they do need a new stadium. It's a dump...

I think the majority of RL fans are interested in the resurgence of K.R. They certainly are a major player this year and I’m sure most neutrals would like to see K.R win Superleague if their own team can’t. Having said that, it still has time to go horribly wrong for you. An absolute shellacking in the play offs puts a big dampener on things and there is no guarantee of such a good season next year. Sounds like you’re heading in the right direction off the field and that can only be good for the game. Good luck for the rest of the season unless it’s against us.

A remarkable achievement coming up the table from your predicament of a few years ago. Obviously it benefits the whole of rugby league, best of luck to you all.

Quote The Cooke Report="The Biffs Back"How ironic is your quote Cookie, as the last time that Hull KR won a major trophy was back in the year 1985.
The same year that "Back to the Future" first hit our cinema screens.
Lets hope that the clubs flux capacitor doesn't pack in
'"
It's a shame that Hull KR put tatty water in the flux capacitor for the GF Cookie and that you're still unfortunately stuck n 1985
I love your fans love for the club though, But that's down to " the power, the power of love"
