Even on a day like today you cannot, nay, should not, avoid cake, if I were coach to a Grand Final team there would be cake in the dressing room, in fact you'd see my team running out at the start each munching on a wedge of lemon drizzle cake that I'd handed out in the tunnel.

"Right lads, go f*kk the bas'tads, here have some cake first..."

Got to be fruit cake - a day like today deserves fruit cake, with a little bit of cheese.

Lemon drizzle = sticky fingers = ball retention.

mother in law has just popped round with a massive home made walnut cake with real butter icing in the middle.
myself, the plumber and the joiner had a massive piece each.
the wife comes home and asks if her cake has come because its for work on monday...........................................
