similar era, probably 85-92, normally after a majpr sesh in Otley, when the last thing i really needed was more ale.

I can think of one particular shocker from brummels.

Saw her a couple of weeks later in Woolworths in Otley, and virtually commando crawled out of the shop to avoid being seen.

she may well have been doing the same thing.

That was the era when Otleys pubs were decent. Saturday afternoon in Otley. Saturday night in Towngate, Guiseley, then stagger down to Regent, on to Station, followed by a wobbly walk down to Brummels, where mates were bouncers, so never paid

I played down at Otley so from the age of 17 to about 26, the otley pubs took the vast majority of my income, especially on Saturdays - there used to be some cracking pubs, was in the Junction a few weeks ago for the first time in years, was ok, but not the junction of old.

Its the best pub in Otley, which unfotunately, is not saying much,
