| Right, I was a little surprised and somewhat disappointed with the appointment BUT;
TM has been wonderful - from a yo yo club we are now a solid play off club and CC semi finalist. We also are stacked with top kids. Let's give TM a wonderful send off - he deserves it.
Our new coach is highly respected and decorated in our game and has not put a foot wrong at Cas. Whether he was your choice or not, he is our new coach and thankfully we have a franchise and still our hopes of the new ground. If ever there was a time we needed as much positivity and support it is now.
Welcome to Cas Ian! And thank you Terry. I for one wish u both the best and I'm right behind you in 2012!!!  |

Indeed, come to think of it when was the last time Cas employed a coach that had won ANYTHING in the game let alone 2 CC finals and 2 SL finals! 
He wont be boring thats for sure! |

| I think most of us will be happy with this appointment when we hear the Polecats announcement of their new coach next week. 
Great relief - thank the lord - Hallelujah - all our prayers have come at once......and so on and so on.  |

I must admit i'm coming round to the idea of IM possibly been a good choice by the Tigers. Other than Brian Noble who would have that much experience ?

Must admit I'm a bit surprised at the dismissive attitude towards Millward overall.
You mention Noble but let's face it, ability wise as a coach they are about the same level (though I'd say Millward better). Noble IMO is NOT a Cas coach. When you say Castleford you think good exciting rugby and bringing good you haters through... Are t they the two things often thrown at Noblr as critiscm? |
