This guy has overseen nothing but a reduction in skill level of referees (even now there full time)complication of rules a lack of respect of the rfl. Time for this guy to go and a complete overhaul of referee's.

But I've wished that he may live in interesting times ever since he red-carded Penguin for a "no case to answer" perceived offence in 1998. So I am biased in that I loathe and despise the man, as well as believing he is totally useless in his present role.

Never liked him since he screwed us at Odsal in either 98 or 99, as the boss of the refs he's brought his incompetence off the field and into the RFL.

A bit like most salaried people really. 'You'll get promoted to your true level of incompetence.' He was an awful ref so they got rid of him at that level.

Ex school teacher who put all other ex school teachers into top refs roles!! all middle class never played the game and it shows.

A ref 'past or present' (such as straight talking Fred Lindop?) should be invited to sit with the Sky team every week and offer their opinion on the decisions made during the game.

The referee's are becoming a joke in Sl and killing the game we all love. Not only are they making basic errors the new clampdown on alloowing wrestling at the tackling is making the game a borefest.
I can forgive a ref for making a howler during a game at the end of the day they are only human but to make our game stale and boring is unforgiveable.

Seems to above responsibility for his, and his charges actions, and certainly doesn't appear to be being held accountable on any front by Red Hall.

Brings nothing to the development of our game and I suspect even his Mum dislikes him.

He'll not go anywhere else voluntarily . . . . and Red Hall have the spine of a jellyfish . . . . so, I fear, he'll be here for ever. Bring back Greg Macallum

for me refereeing has gone down hill since they went full time,i believe that referee`s go into games with an agenda or a game plan which is given to them on the previous weeks errors,this is what causes an unfair playing field and a lack of continuaty.

ive never liked cummins and the appointments of full time refs such has thierry alibert,james child and ben thaler were only made because they wont challenge what cummins says.i would love to see somebody who has played the game in charge of the ref`s to give a players prospective on the game russell smith would be my choice but i doubt russ would be in a hurry to leave sydney.
