Absolutely correct they can pull the plug should those conditions not be met.
Will they do it ?
At some stage I think when the time is right for the RFL to shoe in the next team in line for SL they will indeed do that.
My guess is that it will not be Wakey they turf out. Mr Glover seems at least to be making things happen where as RW just seems to keep regurgitating the same old empty promises, how long the RFL will swallow this is anyones guess.
Also despite the hardwork being put in on and off the field at POR I do not believe we figure in any plans for the RFL to include us in SL. I would not trust anything the RFL said to be honest.
I hope I am wrong,it maybe that Mark Campell knows something we don't ...

You are aware Richard Wright hasn't commented on anything in public for a while and the last stadium news came from Opus?

| I suppose the Newmarket decision will affect things. If it is approved and a spade hits the dirt, the pressure will increase on Cas to find the funding and start the work. The thing for Cas is that if we assume that no work will start towards the end of this year, you will be okay to start the season next year, and the franchise decision will be made the season after. I can't see how they could turf you out with just one season to go on the franchise, as it would be unfair on the club coming up, as they would have little time to plan the season, with things like season ticket prices and playing rosters. Also membership of the top flight would not be determined by an open application, but by the RFL saying to a club "it's your turn".
If Newmarket fails this year, however, I expect Glover would have to come up with a pretty impressive Plan B pretty quickly.

You're making a lot of guesses there.
For me, the recent silence from RW could actually be positive for Cas; maybe he's finally learned that it's best to keep your powder dry until you have something meaningful to say?
The only thing I agree with you on is that Featherstone will never get in SL - at least not as a stand-alone entity...

I think Tom Walters might have had a word with him, the knock on RW was he doesn't lie/spin things but he just jumps the gun a bit over positive things and when a deadline is missed etc he comes across as a liar and what not.

| Regarding the perception that Fev could be coming to SL in 2015 - I haven't seen anywhere where the RFL have stated its plans and criteria for promotion to SL. I might be wrong but I was under the impression that after Widnes promotion this year no plans are in place yet.

| If the Bulls demise is eminent (and I can't see the RFL letting them fold) London won't be far behind them. I still wouldn't get my hopes up if I were a Fev fan. The RFL work in mysterious ways. SL needs a stableization period and after all these warning signs I can honestly see them pulling up the drawbridge now. A reduction is SL teams/games (and income) definately isn't the answer.

Im a realist and wouldnt get my hopes up BUT i wouldnt be quick to dismiss it either with a lot of clubs in financial trouble

I might indeed - who saw that coming, given the recent bail-out by the RFL that was, in their own words, rl"priceless"rl in terms of securing the future of the Dulls?
It's a crazy world.

I think you are wrong mate , i can see a two tier superleague with promotion and relegation being reintroduced, the only other scenario is the status quo and the death of the game.
As one bradford poster put it , from champs to chumps in 6 years, and its all down to chasing the superleague dream
RW appears to be doing a grand job keeping the administrators away from us, while chasing the stadium nightmare
As much as i hate the RFL , i think they are realising that their experiment is failing and they need to step back a bit

Just makes a complete mockery of the licence system who vetted them for finances? were they truthful with all the info? it just reinforces my opinion that the people running our game are waste of time

Agree with a lot you say there.
Another way of looking at it would be to say - what if Cas Tigers were to state "we are staying at Wheldon Road and not moving to GH". We are also financially stable - would the RFL kick us out when you look at what has previously happened to Wakey, Crusaders and now Bulls ?

KPMG, 'experts' from Leeds Met University and, you would expect, the RFL themselves.
Here's a suggestion; maybe the purchase of the Odsal lease was done with the full knowledge that the current legal entity runnning Bradford Bulls was going to implode in the coming months?
