| I too found it a highly entertaining game with the result in the balance right until the end which is what most neutrals want. Fully expected us to get a hiding given the 2 clubs respective recent form so was pleasantly surprised!
Hull KR probably just shaded it and I think deserve to make the top 8 ahead of us given their recent form with good wins against St Helens & Les Cats - 2 fixtures that have resulted in big wins for said teams against Cas.
As a Cas fan I can honestly say the reason I didn't attend the game had nothing to do with the possibility that my car may get vandalised or any concerns about the quality of the stadia. Was purely to do with timing of the match. Had it been played on Sunday afternoon as originally planned I would have gone but being on a Saturday night made more sense to watch in the boozer with mates at the start of a big night out.
I don't have any stickers in my car suggesting I'm a RL supporter of any club and am happy to park it near the grounds of any club in SL. If I did have Cas stickers there would be a number of clubs I would be reluctant to park it near and accept that the same may be true as a visiting supporter parking near Cas. Don't think this reflects on the fans of the respective clubs but more on society in general.

Think its widely accepted that both Hull clubs are 2 of the best teams for bringing away support to grounds, certainly Cas'.
There's numerous factors that come into play in determining how many Cas fans go to an away game but I'd suggest the biggest one is the timing of the game.
Both the games mentioned have something in common with last nights game in that they were both televised on SKY and as a result played at a time that put people off attending. There were plenty of Cas fans attended the challenge cup game at Wakey which happened to be on Saturday afternoon.
The Wigan game was played on a midweek evening at a time when Cas were struggling to even put a team out. Expecting a hammering most Cas fans preferred to watch the game on SKY than brave the M62 on a Wednesday evening.
There was also a good turn out of Cas fans at Bradford - played on a Sunday afternoon...

| I enjoyed the game, I thought we'd win easy but Cas were well up for it, the ref missed a lot of things for both sides imo. You've got some good young players at Cas and I'm sure the futures gonna be very bright,

You could have watched it in the North stand with the rest of the Cas fans, cavemen, and bananas.

| You'd think that by now someone somewhere within the echelons of RLFans.com would have figured that threads like this are nothing more than a self fulfilling prophecy. Normal 'real' people who like RL get increasingly fatigued by all the utterly pointless one-upmanship as displayed in (sadly not only) this thread and find themselves making the decision to walk away from what's inevitably becoming a soapbox for the "my team's all that matters" bulls*it brigade which every club seems to have in ever growing numbers. Didn't RL used to be a community? Oh well...
Personally I couldn't give a flying f**k how far (in metres) KR's away stand is from the action, or who hit who during the game, or if Fozz was 5 mill lower than Newton in the high tackle stakes.. or even whether Silverwood saw it or not. Sport's attraction is that for (in our case) 80 minutes it's a microcosm of life and just like in life s**t happens... sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Yeah sure I'd have liked Silverwood to not be such a discriminatory t*at over Fozzard's NON high tackle, but I'd also like lots of other s*it not to have happened this year, like Cas to have not thrown points away vs London or Wakey or all those other games we could have won but didn't. Were they ALL the ref's fault? Did they ALL have s**t away stands miles from the action? Really?
Cas fans: I know how hard it is to take slipping out of the play offs AGAIN cos I can feel it too, but come on guys.. a little perspective eh? And you KR fans... have a good play offs but go look up "magnanimous" in a dictionary for f**k's sake.. sad a*se c**ts.
I daresay I'll be banned or at least warned for my insulting words but hell... speaking as someone involved in the RLSA long before this 'take a pop' web-sh*te forum came along, it's really no loss to be banned from something that's turning us all into soccer thugs. Jesus, if you want someone to hate, read your history and march on Twickers ffs.

I don't have a 'lot' mate. I'm a rugby league fan. Although to be fair my 'lot' probably started in on my 'lot's messageboard after the gut wrenching reality of just being dumped out of the playoffs in the final week of the season. If I did have a 'lot' I'd be thinking they'd be due a little slack frankly...
