Didnt someone say on here that he lent the club or is owed some big money by Cas and thats the reason he gets away with drinking etc and why he gets picked regular?

IMHO he's been the scapegoat for a lot of things and has added much needed flexibility to our back line. The semi was a gutting experience but he cant be blamed for that..try savin tackle in normal time aside, if a legit tackle was made vs the high shot in golden point I would still have backed Leeds to score. The D line let him down not the other way round.

Unfortunately the "tackle" on Obst was in excusable. Frustration? banter? it doesnt matter. He went to the head with a forearm! If it was the other way round I would want a shooting squad. IMHO its more than a 3 game ban as its intent was to injure, not necessarily to break a jaw but to injure. I wonder what the new coach's view is.....

What he did to Obst was thuggish. If i was Millward next season i would send him to a shrink....if he refuses to go he shouldn't play.

Yes...that would be me! An awful lot of it stacks up with what we see from Goldie, time after time on the pitch and also time after time at Cas Tigers functions. However, at the time of raising it, as ever I was shot down in flames by his loyal, yet mis-guided fan club.

The simple question is 'would any other SL team other than those at rock bottom take Goldie?'.....the answer is NO! For me we need to let him go ASAP! If we want to climb the table, and stay there at the business end of the season, we need better than the likes of Goldie.

Probably because Mathers is equally inept.

I'd rather play with 12 players than have McGoldrick in the team.
He is utterly useless at full-back - cannot make a one-on-one tackle, poor positional sense and awful under the high ball. So pretty much inept.
