| I hope you stay, SL wouldn't be the same IMO. Castleford is synonymous with RL.

| One team nobody mentions when talking about teams to miss out is Bradford. They've had 2 woefully poor seasons, attendances are on the slide, and their ground is an absolute dump.

| What people dont seem to relaise is that the RFL have said one club will come up if they meet the criteria.
The criteria in the article is simple the criteria they have to meet to apply. That is not the criteria they will be judged upon if they are allowed to apply.
Surly if all the current Super league clubs get at least a C grade (belive to be 4 points) on the license applications then how can they be replaced with a club from the lower league with only three points per say?
That would surly be wrong - would it not.
If say Cas and Wakey get foundations laid on the staduims and start to build then they must have a greater case to stay in Super league than say Widnes who will not have a competitive squad etc and therefore not tick that box on the criteria.
Thats just my view though - could be reading it wrong.

| i dont know if there is any truth to this but apperantly toulouse have been ''invited'' to apply for a super league liscence which i gather means they dont have to fill any number of neccesary criteria that a heartland club has to, well thats what all the BBC 606 people are talking about

Even if by some miracle we both get new grounds one of us imo will not get a franchise, that became evident when they started to build Salfords new ground. It would not even suprise me if the other club were sacrificed for toulouse tbh, whatever happens good luck anyway.

| If the RFL kick you or Wakefield out and back Quins & Celtic it's a farce , good luck Cas from Hull KR.

I think the OP on that thread is adding 2 +2 and getting 1,975 see the thread on the VT. Apparently the RFL have changed the operational rules to include 'any club invited by the Board to make an application' but that doesn't mean that Toulouse have been invited.

| If cas or wakiefield get kicked out as opposed Celtic then an absolute disgrace - stadium or no. The crowds they are attracting this season are woeful I do not know how they are keeping solvent unless the RFL are throwing money at them to save embarassment!!!

Were talking about a clubs survival in Super League here, not the result of a match.

| On the V.T its saying Toulouse could be invited by the r.f.l to apply for a licence as they are an overseas club
So if they & Widnes got in at our & Wakey's expense you would have 5 teams each in Yorkshire & Lancashire, a team in the capital, a team in Wales & two French sides. This would probably suit the paymasters at Sky

| At the end of the day the game is a farce. It's corrupt, I couldn't care less if I watched a Wakey Cas derby in the middle of a public park. I really really hope we get planning permission, you sort out your funding and get the land from Polar Ford and Pizza Hut for access sorted out and foundations are being dug at both sites before the end of the year. This really would put the cat amongst the pigeons and it would be very interesting to see the powers that be decisions and reasoning behind it. Can't see what more Salford, and especially Quins and Crusaders offer more than us, also Bradford must be on shaky ground and Hull KR with their debts aren't exactly a model club. The decision has probably already been made and is obviously out of our hands, but for me Super League will be worse off without either of us.
