Quote: Fully "Not really. As long as it's in Glasshoughton, I wouldn't care. But still looks like our paths are in separate directions. I can only hope that all this effort finally does pay dividends.'"

Richard Branson has stepped in as the club''s major benefactor. Virgin trains will carry all passengers to Glasshoughton station, the stadium will be known as the Virgin Stadium and people will come from miles around simply to stare at the splendour and majesty of the construction. The new influx of cash will allow us to buy top, new players while also retaining the services of our up-and-coming stars of the future nurtured by the club's excellent youth system.

The new club shop will of course become the Virgin-Tigers Megastore and we will have worldwide promotion, as well as club videos being shown on all Virgin Airlines flights.

Finally, there will be a ground-up overhaul of the catering facilities with Branson pickle available with every pie.

And so, with all that as an excuse for the incredibly pathetic excuse for a punchline I bid you all goodnight and remember - read all about it in the Cas & Pont tomorrow. But you heard it here first.

Why would it be in Glashoughton? You need to remember you are a small town in Wakefield!

Wembley is a small town in London and Aston Villa a small town in Birmingham so what is you point.

My point is that if a joint stadium was to be built within the Wakefield district then it would be better seved nearer to the CITY ceentre than the small town that is Cas!

Joint stadium is not going to happen anywhere and If Cas are confident that there stadium is going to happen why should they share.

Surely it should be built where the stadium has more chance of happening quicker, which would be on the Glasshoughton site.

I'm sure Wakefield rely upon more than the city centre for their support and therefore having it on J32, where it has good links, has planning permission and a very good chance of happening should both sides have support, then I'd say that is a very valid reason for doing it.

What would you rather have? A stadium built and a licence on J32 or a stadium in the pipeline with no real concrete evidence to suggest that it is going ahead and therefore no SL licence.

NO TO GROUND SHARE dont want waky using our ground apart from our home matches, it would be too expensive in fumigation fees every time they played.

Good luck.

Hope its positive news today for you.

All the sniping between Wakey and Cas has got quite tedious.

Would be great to see both clubs get new stadia.

FWIW,what ever the merits of ground share are,i feel the inevitable outcome would be the disappearance of one of the clubs.
