To be honest Poker Face, I'm not sure as I don't see alot of the Academy, but surely we have someone who plays that position regularly and not one of our better attacking players. I know he scored a try from dummy half, but I just felt he was wasted when we need players in open play.

The trouble is mate, can Halifax keep them if a super league team came calling. If you can keep most of your team together and add some more class. You should get a franchise on the playing front.

The fact of the matter is, we have run out of options due to injuries. In normal circumstances he wouldn't have played there, but it's a case of playing players in a position they are used to. Not ideal, but not dumb.

Fair comment. Maybe the point I was trying to make, was the fact that it was obvious a change had to be made within the game as it wasn't working, so call it what you want, but the sign of a good coach is being able to change it if it's not working. Chase was poor on defense yesterday, purely because he had to do more than usual in the middle of the park. Jones played there the other week and what I am saying is don't put someone there if they are needed so much elsewhere - it's like putting Steven Gerrard in the nets at Liverpool!!!.

Coming from from a fan of a club who thought it was a conspiracy they went down and thought they had a divine right to win the league and be back where they 'belong'. Of course, that isn't obnoxious.

As I've said before, when Cas went close to Bradford the other year (not as close as this game not) you were all saying you should have won and that you had a great team full of SL quality players yada yada, where is the difference?

FWIW This is the first I have heard about an alleged conspiracy regarding that season.

Let's not forget though that Haighy and a few others from the 'Fax board love having a pop at us for stuff like this.

and Bradford had a full team out, like i said you were unlucky. Fax have a good kicker wish we had! then their would have been no need for the golden one.
